Inside Lavender

It was irresistible, a batch of lavender drying in the sun. I had to take a tour of this fragrant plant. Unfortunately the drying flower pods and stems were very woody and stiff. I softened everything with vegetable oil and managed to make usable subjects. Some of the images are amazing. Others are a little vague because of the way the light plays on the stiff woody structures in the oil.
