LEAF CELLS UNDER ATTACK FROM PROTISTS

Originally I dropped some leaves into a pool of water. Within hours the pool was inhabited by microbes moving through the cells of the leaf. After a few weeks the structure of the leaf cells began to change. I continue taking pictures of the changes and the slow process of change in the cells. Here is a sample.
