Life in the Densest Deeper Water Layer

At the deepest water level the organisms differ from those further up in the water column. This is the place where completely saturated vegetation sinks. Many of the protists are larger and move less. They also tend to be more flexible in shape, although I didn't see any amebas as such.

Life in the middle Level

The water is essentially clear, but there is enough material suspended in it that it looks cloudy when light shines through it. A variety of medium-sized protists are active in it.

Adding Fresh Nutrients

Adding fresh nutrient to an established biome really increasing biological activity. The previous microbe colony was till active but nutrients were being consumed and running out. I added some sugary carrot and some leaves from another biome with the result activity quickly picked up. The actual variety of organisms did not appear to change, however.
