I cut a new stem from a small leafy branch of lawn plant. The flower is about 1 mm long and the branch is about .5 mm thick. The branch I cut is about 35 mm long. The leaf is surprisingly complex including thorn-like extensions of the branch. A lot of these plants have thorn like appendages. I wonder what they do for the plant.
