This is a familiar growth that appears on grass. The colonies are almost like crystals that seem to sparkle in the light. The colonies break like dried mud. The individual cells in the colony are very small. The shape of the individual cell units can barely be seen. Since i am moving and don't have access to all my slides and tools, the lighting was is very hard to arrange and I was limited to the mid- range objective. As a makeshift experiment it was interesting. I'm getting my equipment back in two days.
