Dearest All -- I just wanted to take a moment to explain our procedures since there's been some confusion.

If you post a thread with a poem in it, and then remove that poem (you've decided the poem needs more work or for whatever reason), we mods will remove the entire thread when and if we find it. Even if there are comments in that thread. Once the poem is gone, there really is no reason to keep the thread on the boards. Removing it frees up the space for other people's threads that do have poems in them.

A thread without a poem in it is just wasted space. And people waste time clicking on it just to find there's nothing there to comment on.

So, it's perfectly okay to remove your poems if you've changed your mind about posting them. That's fine. Just don't be surprised when the entire thread disappears. It's our normal housekeeping and has nothing to do with you personally.

Love,
M

M- I am glad this is the policy. When I've changed my mind about posting something it's good to know you will clean up my mess!

I deleted my poem and my poems. I am sorry for this, especially for this, I made a wasted time for who clicks for my poems and finds nothing. And also sorry for them who left their beautiful comments to me. I feel so shy now, it was not a good thing to do this. But almost one year, I have been dealing with myself. I am not going to explain my reason for deleting my poems. Just I wanted to say my apologize for you all. And moderators and dear M, they did the best by removing the topic. Just let me remind them there are a few more down the page of mine. Please apologize me that I wasted your precious times and space. It won't be again because I am not going to post my poem here anymore. Not because you or forum, because of my own reasons. Hope you can understand me and I hope you remember me in your nice memories.

Blessing and Happiness,
with my best wishes and love,
nia

As I said nia, it's simple housekeeping. And we do this when we find them. You didn't do anything wrong, so no apologies are necessary. People change their minds and remove work all the time. And we clean up threads as we can. When I said it was a waste of space, I just meant that the boards move very fast around here as it is, and we like to make room for threads when we can.

Sorry for your personal difficulties. We're here should you want to return in the future.

Love,
M

Hi M

I agree with the policy. If the original poem has been removed by the poet, it makes the thread redundant.

All the best
