Dearest All -- in honor on Poetry Month (April) which is fast approaching, here's a link to some poetic forms to learn about and play with: Some Poetic Forms The list isn't complete, but each form does include a link to further info about it. Have fun! Love, M |

Or, if you are in the mood for a monster -- monster I do not wish my worms to be considered for annelid of the week. They are already so thin and emaciated. I can only pray for compost.

Here's more! ..... another, extremely comprehensive, collection of poetic forms: Guide to Verse Forms It's actually great fun; some of the examples are hilarious as well as really good. Not least: it's very informative as well. Jane ....... Fred, are you the National Poetry Monster of the Year? I thought as much. (Message edited by magpie on March 23, 2009) |

Loved the monster, Freddie. Personal friend of yours? *LOL* Thanks for the giggle. Thanks for this link, dearest Jane. I'm sure it will prove very useful to many. I'll put it in the WPF Library eventually. It's a great resource! Love, M |
