A little of both for your listening pleasure

Ran across this, a bit of what's left.

Sue,

So glad I took a few and listened to this.
Traditional American folk music continues to be my favorite to date...& this early Bob Dylan poem-song
is no exception.

Liam Clancy does right by the vocals...but the background music steals my heart!

Have a good one~

sue, that was exquisite. there are some singers that reach in and brush your heart, and some songs that do the same. This one does both.

I have always loved Dylan's recording of this, and what is fun is hearing one after the other.

Just lovely.

Great. I love Dylan. I've kind of always wished I was around in the 60s for the music - Dylan, the Beatles, Joplin and such. I've always felt I'm in the wrong decade.

Sue or anyone else, if you really want to get your heart broken, try Liam Clancy's "and the band played 'Waltzing Matilda'". Its in the same section, to the right, further down.
