This list is not complete or comprehensive. It's in alphabetical order. I will add to it as I find more small presses that publish poetry books/chapbooks and may be open to submissions. BTW -- buy some chapbooks from them. The best way to learn what kind of styles and content they want is to study the work of those authors they've already published. In other words, don't try to get your collection of barroom poems published by a small press who only prints nature collections. Instant rejection! The poet's mantra: Study the markets. Thank you dearest. I appreciate you're taking the time to offer us this valuable resource. I am checking several of these threads. Ooh came across a great one for persona poems. I will post in other thread. I have to get off my ass and send something out to several of these. I am good at proding other people but terrible at my own submissions. Just wanted to move this back to the top! "I was working on the proof of one of my poems all the morning, and took out a comma. In the afternoon I put it back again." ~ Oscar Wilde "You will hardly know who I am or what I mean" ~ Walt Whitman Cement Covered Cherries
