Hi there, I have a friend who has an interest in writing Children's stories, and while I have not read any of her writings myself, I was wondering if any of you have suggestions for web sites/links to reputable and friendly sites for beginners who are interested in exploring this as a possibility? Would appreciate any/all input, as she seems sincerely interested and I think would also provide excellent and honest feedback for other beginning writers. I'd rather send along a referral than have her throw the dart at the google/yahoo/ask search-dart board for trial/error/disillusionment because the site where the dart landed (or was a sponsored site thus listed at the top of the list but was most "relevant" so she picked it) sucked or was over-run by hackers and such... Thanks, Tina "One word frees us of all the weight and pain of life: that word is love." ~Sophocles

Tina, try http://anotherealm.com/prededitors/pubwork.htm I did not check to see if any children writer sites there, but it is a great resource, as are the SFF writers at http://www.sff.net/writing.asp Someone in the SFF newsgroup was doing a P and E type list for kids lit, so you might ask there http://webnews.sff.net/browse?hierarchy=sff.writing.* These folk are friendly and most of them have sold stuff...
