I feel a little hesitant about asking this... I'm not really cross, only a little anxious. I posted a poem in Heavy Critique a couple of days ago and it hasn't had any responses. Is it OK to post it again in Light Critique, or is it normal for several days to go by before anybody picks up on it in the Heavy Critique forum? I also posted one a while back in Sublux and it didn't get any - seems like Light Critique is where it's happening? |

Dearest Bee -- Lisa just responded to someone else about this issue, so I will just quote her: "Please don't jump to any conclusions! Especially for poems posted in Biofeedback, it often takes a few days to garner responses. I know that I like to read a piece at least twice, a day apart before I feel I am ready to give a cogent critique. Also, it does take time to build trust in a group such as this. As you comment/critique on other's poems, they will, in turn, seek yours out. Above all, don't panic!" I concur with her. BIOFEEDBACK is a slower moving forum mainly because more is often expected or offered in there. Giving indepth crit takes more thought and more time. We normally ask that people post a specific poem in only one forum. You can find info about that and other topics here: WPF FAQs Try to have a patience and I'm sure someone will be along to respond. Yes, CV is our most popular forum, but you are not likely to get quite the same level of assistance in there. Mostly just general comments and light suggestions. Hope this answers your questions and calms your concerns. Never hesitate to ask questions. That's what we're here for. Love, M |

Hiya, Just me with my two-cents. I have spent a fair amount of time here and found it be both a place of graciousness, wisdom and encouragement. And the rest...well, 'nuff said. but of course, I can not leave it at that, but only say, it's a place. and a nice to be, at that. Don't call me Miss Manners or anything, but both sublux and bio are fine. But you are asking for a blow-by-blow, line-by-lien there, and wouldn't it be fair to say, in order to do that, it takes a little time to at least read your poem more than once? Seems right to me. But I don't generally post there. Or for that matter, anywhere else, except for other places 'round here... Best, Tina "One word frees us of all the weight and pain of life: that word is love." ~Sophocles
