Hi Wilders,

I want to share something I do when I'm navigating our wonderful forum that may improve your experience here at Wild. A while back I asked Our Leaders if there was a way to load pages that would be faster for my slower laptop connection. They didn't have any ideas, but I found a really good trick on my own.

Look up there in the left hand corner under Discussion, there are four folders- The one that says "Last Day" will take you to a search of every post generated in the last 24 hour day, PST. If you come to Wild as often as I do, this method for finding and viewing all the posts you are interested in is great. You will get all the most recent posts titles and authors in every forum, all responses and their authors (and a little snippet of what they said- love this for the mystery of it!).

If your browser doesn't open this way- with the navigation bar on the left- you might be able to get it by going back to the main page. The great thing about this is you can open the page without having to wait for the whole forum to load, and when you are bone you can refresh by hitting Last day or go back to where you were in the list by hitting you browser's back button.

Well that's all I have to say on that subject- Happy navigating!

Thanks for posting this tip, Laz. We are so familiar with the way Wild works, we often forget to point out the features available for navigating the site. That left-hand menu bar ( over there <------- ) is real lifesaver for many other needs as well -- formatting information, a search feature, a way to edit your profile, access to the member list, as well as background info on Wild (FAQs, Mission Statement, etc.), the WPF BookShop, the Hall of Fame, and a way to contact staff.

We recommend that all members explore all the options. If anyone has any questions about these features or anything else about Wild, you can note those questions here in ESSENTIAL OILS or write to us at moderators@wildpoetryforum.com.

Love,
M

Plus, if you click on "Tree View," every day you can see a lovely photo from ~M~ and Steve's arborium.

One day it's a jovial Jacaranda, the next a sexy Cycad, or perhaps a frisky Fig.

You should check out what happens when you click on "Contact," Derf. Shhhhh, don't tell anybody, but it's how you (just you, of course) can contact the mothership for transport.
