Hello,

I was just wondering why not all replies to original posts and replies to posts on crits do not always come through consistently to my email though set that way?

Could be my email carrier, but was just curious as to whether I don't have something set correctly and whether other posters also experience this?

Thanks, Tina

I experience it too. I chalked it up to Yahoo being fussy.

Anybody else with a yahoo email address experiencing this?

Dearest Tina and KA -- you have no problems with your settings. Here's the problem. Many mail servers in an effort to cut down on junk mail have made it harder for legitimate mail to get through. Especially when you've made more than one comment and the automated mail from Wild is coming fast. Your mail server is seeing Wild's automated mail as junk mail or spam and not delivering it or delivering it inconsistently (it may let the first ones through, then block the rest).

There is nothing we can do about this. The only potential fix is to talk to your mail server people, but even this will probably not correct things totally.

Sorry about this. But it's an unwelcome side effect of their efforts to protect you from junk mail.

Love,
M

Tina, despite anything you've heard from ~M~ and others about spam filters zapping automated mail, I can assure you: it's --

lol Derf, no demons.

Just the new A T&T conglomerate or something like that. Who owns that company these days anyway?

Thanks ~M~
for the explanation. I just go to the web sites anyway.

All the best,
