Dear Poetry Buffs,

Poetry & Poets in Rags (blog)

We headline with an upset. We follow with the upset poet winning. And then we get into a rhyming theme.

Watch for the article by Dame Gillian Beer in the Guardian on this. The Guardian also brings us a nifty article on poets in residence, the first of their poetry workshops for 2007, a poem by the poet who diligently did the upsetting, and some afterthoughts by our friend and their books editor, Sarah Crown.

There is much more for us than what I just said. But this is all for discovery.

No, I have to tell you how I went leafing through William Blake's notebook last night. There's a page with "The Tyger" on it? . . .

Yours,
Rus
