Dear Poetry Fans,

Poetry & Poets in Rags Blog (The blog, because my e-mails aren't connecting with David Ayers yet this week)

Another week with lots to read. We start off with Dost being arrested again in Pakistan, followed by another poet being shot in Montenegro. News at Eleven will then take you travelling into the social world, the history, and the ways of poetry. I could not resist copying an entire Emily Dickinson poem. This version does not show up on a Google search, other than how it is brought to us by The Guardian. Maybe that should be our headliner. But the Dost case is too time sensitive, though, too pressing a matter.

I'll leave the huge Great Regulars, and the shorter Poetic Obituaries, for you to discover. These regulars are great. How great for the world, how the web brings this in such volume to us in clicks.

Yours,
Rus
