Dear Poetry Fans, Poetry & Poets in Rags How could poetry die? But something is killing poetry in Pakistan. That's our headliner. This is followed by two exceptional reports on poets, including their poems--these off the African continent. From there, we move to Korea, and a profile of Ko Un, whom I had the honor and pleasure of meeting with his wife as they walked along a New Jersey waterway 10 days ago. Then, it's off to Europe, before landing in America to come home here to Lowell MA, where, in our back page story, you'll be tested on your knowledge of Jack Kerouac.
