Dear Poetry Fans,

Poetry & Poets in Rags

Starting this week, for as long as it seems the better way, we will have an obituary section following our usual eleven articles. This way, I am not trying to select if someone who gave their life in poetry, such that an obituary would identify them so, is important enough to make a list. Of course such a poet is important enough, and such story needs to make the rounds. No death, then, bumps out one of the other eleven articles, whether it be one or, like last week, six of them. I won't, therefore, headline the obits. But then again, check out the first one (in the alphabetical order by author name). It's not your typical obituary.

As always, be sure to check out the headliner from Korea and the back page out of India. Our first two stories, in fact, vied to be our headliner. Both feature terrific whole poems, that second from East Turkestan, but not the only ones to. We are globe-trotting again, far and wide, intense stories at times. It's a great issue. Poetry life.

Yours,
Rus
