Hello Poetry Fans,

Poetry & Poets in Rags

Our headliner this week, which introduces our other ten articles wonderfully, was noted by Glen Marks at Cafe Utne in the Poetry Chitchat topic of Literature Writing there. Following that, we'll first do some globe and issue hopping, and then return to the theme that touched many of our articles last week, accessibility, elitism, and the audience for poetry. John Ashbery appears again, and a discussion thread is already ongoing sparked by our seventh article and started by Laurel, at Writer's Block's Natter and Palaver, called How to Read John Ashbery. Our back page is a good one for you haiku fans. Enjoy, and thanks.

Yours,
Rus
