Welcome to BALANCING QI

~Community Involvement Forum~

"In acupuncture and Chinese medicine, the "life force" is known as qi (pronounced as "chee.") Qi flows through the body along 12 specific channels, or meridians. Along these meridians are over 460 acupuncture points that interface with qi. In order to effect a balanced flow of energy through the body, the acupuncturist uses the insertion of thin needles to either build qi or drain qi. The needles are so fine that there is very little, if any, sensation of penetration. Stimulating the acupuncture point affects the flow of qi. Health is restored when the energy is balanced."

From “Acupuncture” by Michael Braunstein

BALANCING QI is for COMMUNITY POEM EFFORTS. These are cooperative efforts that may be continuously added to by any of our members. Any form or style is welcome with the exception of erotica. WPF CREATIVITY CHALLENGE PROGRAMS can also be found here. Ah . . . group harmony.

Ñ This forum is for Community efforts only. Style and type of poem are dictated by the author of the individual thread. By author of thread we mean the person who started it. Any other member may then add to the poem or contribute a poem by posting in the thread according to the parameters set by the original author.

Ñ You will also find WPF's Creativity Challenge Progam here. Each Challenge is explained in its individual thread.

Ñ Poems posted here will NOT be eligible for Poem of the Week or IBPC consideration. They are works in progress and many will have multiple authors. If they are poems posted for the Creativity Challenges, we suggest that the poems be re-posted on another forum within WPF for POTW/IBPC consideration after the Challenge week has ended.

Ñ This forum is NOT archived. Please keep a copy of your own work in a safe place. This forum is periodically cleared of old posts and comments (those 30 days old or older) to make room for new posts. This "housekeeping" is usually done by the staff on the first of every month, so if you want to keep copies of comments, please do so within the 30-day time frame.

Ñ You may edit posts within 60 days after their initial creation. After that time limit, you will need to request moderator assistance.

Ñ You may respond to any of the posts below by clicking on the link or post your own message by clicking on the "Start New Thread" link below.
