Is the basic standard for a limerick a humorous verse containing five anapestic lines with an aabba rhyme scheme?

Thanks for the links. I'll read them.

BTW, in the first link, "(poetry)" needs to be included in the link. When it's know, you're taken to the Irish city rather than to the poetry page.

Yeah, every time I cut and paste it removes "poetry" from the link, and sticks it outside the underline. It appears to be a glitch in Wiki.
