Dearest M, mi hermana, I've revised my poem. When is it proper to post a revison? Also, what about posting it in Bio. When can I do that? So, how much time should I wait? I know the boards are packed and I don't want be a piggie.

Dearest borrachita -- if you've revised within a week or so, we recommend posting the revision over the original in the original thread. If it's been longer than a week or two, we suggest posting the revision in a new thread.

If you've posted the original in CV, and you want more help with the revision, it's fine to post the revision in BIO anytime you wish.

You are not the piggie, hermana. I am the little bastard piggie. You are the borrachita, remember?

love, love,
swinka

Really? I always thought that was a no no. That you could not post it in Bio if it's already been posted in CV unless a significant (whatever that is :-)) amount of time had passed. You mean I too could be a piglet? Did you move move it to Bio from CV or I can double post?

Dearest E -- We're talking revisions here. We ask that people not post a poem in both CV and BIO at the same time. That's double posting. But if you've worked on a revision since posting it in CV and want more in-depth help with the revision, then it's OK to post that revision in BIO, even if the original has already made an appearance in CV. Or to post that revision in CV in a new thread if the old thread has moved so far down the board that no one would see it.

If you haven't done a revision, and just want the poem to appear in another forum (for whatever reason), just ask us to move it and we will be happy to do that. Or if you want to post the revision over the original and have us move the whole thread from CV to BIO with all the original comments intact, that's OK too.

We just don't want people to post the same poem in every forum at the same time. Or to post too many revisions in new threads which push other people's threads down the board too fast. That's disjointed, distracting, and annoying. And piggie-like. *grin*

Thank-you dearest swinka, now i understand. I'll wait a couple of days before schlepping it around. It's a heavy little sucker, I don't want to get a hernia by lifting it. Don't worry, I'll bend my knees when I move it.

P,S. I didn't wait, I changed my mind, again. I put it in the other place. Who knows, maybe I'll move it. Swinka, I'm having the where to put myself problem. One minute I'm here and then I turn around and I'm there. Where am I, dearest hermana?

I think that along the right side of the main WPF forum page, there should be a border. Just to the right of that border, there ought to be sponsored poems. Just like on Google.

I pay $10 . . . the poem that my mother would die for is up for a week. Just click on it and BAM! -- it's right there. Maybe right under the poem, a brief bio extolling my world-class virtues.

For $20 . . . you get a suite of poems, along with plaudits from imaginary masters like Jorie Gam, Mark Spammed and Sharon Golds.

Bye-bye WPF dinero crisis. Hello easy street.

Dearest Freddie -- Yeah, hello easy street. My grandpa used to say he would be a very rich man if he could only convince every person in NYC to give him just one penny. Imagine what riches we could steal if we just charged a buck a click.
