Here at Wild, people normally post their revisions over the original in the thread, particularly if not much time has passed between the original and the edit, and the post is still active. We recommend this format:

REVISION:

xxx xxxx xxxxx xxxxx
xxxxx x xxxxx xxxxx
xxx xxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxx
xxxx x xxxxxx xxxx xxxxx

ORIGINAL:

xxxxxx xxxxxxx xx xxxxxx
xxxx xxxxx xxxxxx xxxxxx
xx xxxxx xxxxxxx xxxxxx
xxxxx xxxxxx xx xxxxx

Or you may choose to start an entirely new thread for the revision. People usually make this choice if a lot of time has passed and the original has slipped down the page.

To edit the poem, look at the top of the original post and you will see four small icons at the upper right corner. The one that looks like a piece of paper with a pencil over it is the Edit function. Simply click that and you will be presented with an editing box in which you can make any changes you wish. You can post the revision over the original in that box.

If the changes are minor (a word or two, one line, an additional phrase, different punctuation, etc.), people usually just edit the original without posting an entirely new revision.
