Dear Poetry Aficionados,

Poetry & Poets in Rags

Look under M this week.

As the the poets writing in the InterBoard Poetry Community make the transition from Bryan Appleyard as judge of their works this spring, to the summer of Maurya Simon (who now has this month's entries from all the writers' boards), we get to take a very good look into this coming fall's judge, E. Ethelbert Miller. He will take the IBPC bench for October through December, and as of today is one of the Great Regulars of Poetry & Poets in Rags.

We get two insightful articles by Ethelbert, one a review and the other an interview. But in addition to this, a review of his own latest collection of poetry is our headliner, an excellent read of his work. Speaking of which, here's his latest poem, which showed up on E-Notes:

On Aging

Many of you online poets will remember Luisetta Mudie. We shared the Atlantic's Writers' Workshop a few years back. You may also know that she writes for Radio Free Asia. She is doing superb work in service to the world through this channel, as we have linked to her articles in the past. She too becomes one of our Great Regulars this week.

Thanks for clicking in.

Yours,
Rus
