Hi all, ok so we lost our entire file of profiles last night. i anticipated something might happen as this is the same night we had issues as last week. anyhow, i have a copy of our profiles from Friday (3/30) afternoon and have restored that file. So, any changes or new members made/created since fri. afternoon are not in the file and need to be done again.

we thought we'd taken all the precautions we could take but its still not enough. its also interesting that the files affected were different this time -- none of the forums were affected that i can see, at least for now.

I know we've approved some new members in the last couple days so we'll have to go through and do those again.

thx again for all you patience.

Thanks Steve for working so hard at this. I emailed admin. with my problem, but I see you have fixed it.

Steve, when I do Last Day or Week, CV does not show up. It does when I do topics.

Thanks and smiles.

Steve- You'll probably notice that many files are missing from CV.

Hi Steve, sorry you are getting the brunt of this, thank you for reinstating us. Hopefully the hacker will eventually get bored.

thx all

with the time being the same 1 a.m. all three times and on the same day the last two weeks, we're thinking this is more a virus profile than a person, though a person had to write the virus. anyhow, i thought since our internet provider put us on a different server this last week, the problem would go away, so i'll be talking to them when we get back from seattle.

Steve, hugs. What fun you're having, not! Wish I was more computer literate, I'd offer to help. 'Bout all I can do is send you the pile of hair I pulled out trying to figure out Vista. Just in case you're doing the same.

Thanks for all your hard work and diligence.
