Dear Poetry Fans, Poetry & Poets in Rags A great week for poets and poetry in the news. I say this for many reasons, but only need our headliner to support such a bold promoter's contention. It will be one of the top poetry stories of the year, one that changes things for our world of poetry, a reference point, mandatory reading. Our back page is definitely no slouch either, nor the ten in between. But in such a big week as this, is that in itself enough reason not to pare these articles down to the usual 11? Why have 12? I won't tell you what the article is, but the publisher requested its inclusion. I got down to the final 14-15, and it was still there, and so there it stayed. A fine and certainly worthy request and I was happy to set aside any more judgment and therefore I'm obliged. I hope you enjoy. Thanks for clicking in.
