Dear Poetry Fans,

Poetry & Poets in Rags

We're going to get local this week. We're travelling around the world to different locations, Brazil, the world of baseball, the brothels of Tibet circa 1700, a Malay neighborhood, and more. We're world-hopping, and we begin with three obituaries leading our eleven articles. One is from the United States, one from Portugal, and the third from Japan, all men who made it into old age, a relative rarity for poets. 101 gets the headliner.

We don't often end like this, but we've saved what can be thought of as the worst for last. It's about the best of the bad from Scotland.

Yours,<br>
Rus
